Wide open entertaining
Live and cook, cook and share… the areas dedicated to entertaining are designed around a long table, a large central island or an imposing cooker hood clad in irregular wooden panels. Far more than simple kitchens, these are gourmet living rooms intentionally designed around the architecture.

Transformation, interpretation
Enter into our world.... With a certain theatricality, an antique gold-leaf headboard has been re-upholstered with a Provençal quilt the colour of old gold; a bed which sits majestically under the eaves has been conjured up from 2 antique wood columns and a panel of wallpaper from the19th century. The idea? To enhance objects from the past through modern interpretation.

Enhancing the everyday areas
Living with beauty at every moment, whether in a kitchen or in a wine cellar… This is the aim in the houses created by Sara and Jean-Luc. The great technical theatre, although ever-present, is hidden behind linen curtains and leaves the décor to shine in the crystal light.

Drawing architectural effects in white materials
A single guideline: sculpt the materials using the purity of graphics and the radiance of white light......Stone slabs in different shapes and sizes at the base of a staircase in tadelakt; a blend of wood panelling and antique hemp fabric to dress a wall; a modern interpretation of a coffered ceiling and the sublime irregularity of a bespoke floor in white terracotta. Four examples of an exercise in style.

Stone made to measure
Whether for a country house or a contemporary apartment, the kitchens conceived by Spirito Montalto provide a unique space for everyday living. Solid, generous, cut from sheer stone, in tones reminiscent of lime plaster, and perfectly dimensioned, each kitchen sink is a sculpture.

Bringing exceptional work up to date
“It’s a real pleasure being able to work with master craftsmen and refashion stained-glass windows in collaboration with the famous Simon Marcq workshop in Reims”. Renovating a private chapel Sara and Jean-Luc reveal a personal and refined vision of stained glass. Lead turns minimal, the frame melts into the wall and only the colour of the glass is exalted.
